2. Refund Eligibility
Eligible for Full Refund
- New clients within their first 30 days of service
- Duplicate charges or billing errors
- Service outages exceeding 72 consecutive hours
- Failure to deliver core services as described in your plan
Not Eligible for Refund
- Requests made after 30 days from initial subscription
- Monthly subscription fees after the current billing period has ended
- Add-on services or one-time fees that have been fully delivered
- Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations
- Catch-up bookkeeping or clean-up services already performed
3. Subscription Cancellations
Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. When you cancel:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
- You will not be charged for subsequent months
- No partial refunds are provided for unused days within a billing period
- You retain access to your data and reports until the end of your billing period
Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions paid in advance may be eligible for a pro-rata refund based on the following schedule:

4. How to Request a Refund

5. Special Circumstances
Service Outages

Account Upgrades/Downgrades
When you upgrade your plan, you'll be charged the prorated difference immediately. When you downgrade, the new rate takes effect at your next billing cycle—no refunds are issued for the current period.
Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you're facing exceptional circumstances (serious illness, natural disaster, business closure), please contact us. We review these situations on a case-by-case basis and may offer extended refunds or credits at our discretion.
6. Data After Cancellation
When your subscription ends or is cancelled:
- You will have 30 days to export your financial data and reports
- We will provide your data in standard formats (PDF, CSV, or accounting software export)
- After 90 days, your data will be permanently deleted from our systems
- We can assist with data migration to another provider upon request

7. Refund Processing
Refunds are processed as follows:
- Credit Card Payments: Refunded to the original card within 5-7 business days. Your bank may take additional time to post the credit.
- ACH/Bank Transfer: Refunded to the original bank account within 7-10 business days.
- Other Methods: If your original payment method is no longer available, we'll work with you to find an alternative refund method.
